San Antonio Dentist 78251 W Dental Group, Dr. WatkinsThomas R. Watkins

Dr. Tom Watkins, or Dr. Tom as he is commonly known, is originally from the small west Texas town of Levelland.  It is there that he met his wife of 28+ years.  Together they have two grown children and a grandson on the way.  Dr. Tom is overjoyed to become a grandfather.

His personal motto, “Loving to live by living to love,” is evident in all aspects of his life.  Every year Dr. Tom travels along with a group of other caring individuals to Guatemala to provide dental care for those in need.  He plans to continue doing so for many, many years to come.  Dr. Tom enjoys active pastimes like mountain biking, hiking and fishing (especially deep sea fishing), and some not-so-active pastimes like good ‘ol backyard sit-under-the-tree visiting with friends and family.  He is also an active member of his church and his serving spirit permeates his work.

San Antonio Dentist 78251 W Dental Group, Dr. WatkinsDr. Kelsey B. Peña

Dr. Kelsey Peña was born and raised here in San Antonio. She met her fiancé in high school, and they have been together since she was seventeen! Dr. Peña has served in Texas Mission of Mercy, a mobile dental clinic that provides free dental care to uninsured Texans. She has also used one of her hobbies, baking, to participate in an organization that donates birthday cakes to disadvantaged children and seniors. Dr. Peña cherishes time with her loved ones, has a passion for dancing, (she learned various styles from tap to pointe to hip-hop starting at age two!) and of course, loves going to Spurs games. One of her favorite scripture verses is Romans 12:6-8: “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us…if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is giving, then give generously…” She feels blessed to be able to change lives through dentistry.
