One of our goals here at W Dental Group is to help all of our patients in their overall wellness goals (after all W Dental Group is where wellness begins with a smile ☺︎).

So, every Friday we’ll be posting a weekend reading message with all kinds of different tips, tricks and articles on a variety of subjects that we find interesting and helpful in all aspects of life, not just dental.  Our hope is that you will find these posts useful in your life and share them with others to help spread smiles.

Now that winter has packed up and moved out, it’s time to start thinking about ways to take advantage of the sunny weather outdoors. Why not fill a free day with an exciting activity for the whole family? You don’t need a lot of money or a week off to craft a special experience. With a little foresight and ingenuity, you can plan an activity everyone will love. Here are a few ways to create a weekend day that nobody in your house will soon forget.

Just Do-Seum It!

Who said that learning can’t be fun?  At the San Antonio Doseum kids and kids-at-heart can have a blast with hands-on activities and games.  As their website says, the Doseum is San Antonio’s only museum just for children where kids learn by doing, creating and tinkering- instead of just looking and listening.  They have also partnered with HEB to provide free admission every first and third Tuesday of the month.  Take the kiddos and check it out!  View their event calendar here.

Places to take your kids in San Antonio

Do you ever have days when you just don’t know where to go or what to do to keep yourself and your children entertained?  This post from San Antonio’s has some great suggestions.  It’s San Antonio’s online guide to everything kids, teens and families.  Next time you’re just plain out of ideas log on and check it out.
